CITIC Telecom International Holdings Limited (“CITIC Telecom”) and Communications Association of Hong Kong (CAHK) jointly organised the World Telecommunication and Information Society Day Hong Kong 2026 on 21 March 2026 (Sat), to encourage teenagers to enhance their innovative ability and adaptability in the internet world. The teachers and students from St. Mary’s Canossian College were invited to visit CITIC Telecom’s Network Operation Centre (NOC), Data Centre and Security Operation Centre (SOC) to learn CITIC Telecom’s business operation, and enhance the knowledge in Information and Communications Technology (ICT), telecommunications and internet.     

The group of 20 from St. Mary’s Canossian College visited CITIC Telecom Tower to study the products and services of CITIC Telecom and the latest development trend of ICT industry. CITIC Telecom shared insights of Intelligent Financial Fraud Shield and AI applications, as well as AI-AR remote hand and AI platform live demonstrations to the students. The visit enabled them to learn the daily operation of telecommunications company, and enhance the knowledge in the new technology in telecommunication industry and relevant AI applications.

CITIC Telecom will strive to execute corporate social responsibility and continue to organise diversified activities to the public to promote the ICT industry, and to contribute to the nurture of the young talent in the telecommunications industry.
